Our Love Story
How we met
We met in church. Later I got to know we were schooling together in Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun. I was in HND 2 and she was in HND 1. We kept seeing often in school and that was how our friendship started as casual friends.
The Proposal
The proposal was at NNPC senior staff club, Ekpan. Delta State. One of colleague by name Silva Bright planned the coup. So he said he will put some of my friends together at the club and while they are there I will come with her as one of the guest to his party because he asked me to tell her he's having a little get-together with his friends. So while the party was going on she had no clue of anything going on. After a while my other colleague by name Nmoka Goodluck asked me to stand up and introduce who I came with. I told them how precious she is to me and I felt I shouldn't walk alone anymore. In the course of introduction, I asked her to stand for everyone to see her. While she was standing I brought out the ring with my knee on the grow and then pop the question "WILL YOU MARRY ME"? She couldn't withstand the shock so she ran away to hold a pole that was close by. Tears of joy was just allover her and she finally said YES.
